Thanks to Tony’s exceptional photographic talent combined with his dauntless fortitude for hiking and camping deep into the Northwest wilderness, the rest of us are able to enjoy and appreciate this remote beauty seen only by a select few.

Each carefully composed photograph captures so much natural beauty that I can actually imagine that I am standing in Tony’s footprints. Tony’s superb collection of photo documentaries can only be described as: fabulous, inspiring, heavenly and unsurpassed. I am quite sure that Tony’s work would be keenly admired by the likes of John Muir and Ansel Adams. Tony’s books are not only beautiful, they are a reminder of the importance of stewardship for our planet.

It is a glorious testament, not only of your photographic ability, but your artistic eye, your physical stamina, and your personal journey.  Your words reflect knowledge of geology and other earth-shaping forces.  The fact that you made all those trips, some of which tested your endurance nearly to the limit, is amazing in itself.  The result of all those years of hikes into the wilderness with that heavy photographic equipment is an achievement that you can continue visibly to enjoy with great satisfaction.  We are grateful that you chose to share the beauty and wonder you experienced with the public.

Time brings change.  It is grand that this book has a record of the beauty that was at the time of your travels.  What may be there in those places of quiet glory in the future is anyone's guess.  We can hope that no corporation discovers gold or other exploitable resource, and that the public has the good sense to support the concept of wilderness long into the future.  You have made a fine contribution toward helping the public understand the impact on the human psyche of nature undamaged by human interference.  It has impact that nourishes and restores the human spirit.

Most of those glorious vistas we will never have the opportunity to experience directly.  We are grateful that we have now seen them through your eyes with the help of a camera lens. A moving and wondrous experience it is.

It certainly captivated me.  Each picture was exploding with beauty of its own.  The way in which you described each view brings the reader into a real experience.  Many of the views were mesmerizing!   I could feel myself being absorbed by the breathtaking beauty captured in those pictures of the creation of our living God!! You have been blessed with a talent and you have glorified our Father in heaven by putting that beauty in a book!  May many others who have never seen those majestic mountains have opportunity to read and view your book.

The quality of the book is superb!  I love the black pages with white lettering.  You must have spent many hours making decisions before final publication.
